Healing starts when you feel safe to be seen

At Collective Hope Therapy, we offer therapy that feels relaxed, real, and deeply human. You’ll find warmth, safety, and care from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re healing from trauma, exploring your identity, or wanting to feel more at peace in your relationships, this is a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and begin to make sense of things at your own pace.

Our approach

We believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation, not a clinical process. We sit beside you, not above you. We bring empathy, humour, and strong clinical skill to help you understand yourself, your emotions, and the patterns that keep showing up in your life.

We work with adults from all walks of life – people who’ve experienced trauma, those exploring neurodivergence or identity, individuals wanting to strengthen relationships, and anyone ready to live with more self-awareness and ease.

Therapy with us is collaborative and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, curiosity, and choice. We work gently and at your pace, so you feel safe and supported through every step of the process.

We support people through a wide range of experiences

But you don’t have to fit into a box to belong here. Whatever brings you to therapy, you’ll be met with compassion, understanding, and care.

Why choose us

At Collective Hope Therapy, you’ll find therapists who see you as a whole person, not a label or diagnosis. Our social work background means we understand how mental health is shaped by both internal experiences and the world you live in.

We work holistically, drawing on approaches like Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, and Strengths-Based Practice, always tailored to fit your needs. Our goal is to make therapy accessible and real in a space that feels calm, safe, and free from judgment.

Clients often tell us they feel seen and understood here, sometimes for the first time. That’s because we’re all in. We bring care, love, and hope to this work. Healing and change are possible, and you don’t have to do it by yourself.

Prue Gilligan

Hi, I'm Prue

I’ve created a space that’s non-clinical, relaxed, and neurodiversity-affirming. My approach is warm and human, built on genuine care and understanding. As a late-diagnosed AuDHD therapist, I know what it means to navigate the world differently, and I bring that insight into my work with clients. Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate, helping you feel understood and supported as you move toward healing and peace.

Adam Bottomley

Hi, I'm Adam

I love helping people make sense of their thoughts, feelings, and relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families, using straightforward language and practical tools to support growth and understanding. My approach is grounded in care, curiosity, and belief in people’s ability to change. I bring warmth, insight, and a bit of humour to the work we do together.

Taking the first step

Reaching out for help takes courage, but you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. If you’re ready to explore therapy, we’re here to make the process simple, comfortable, and safe.
